You are always near me O'Lord,
Closing my ears to the words of fools,
For it is they who follow whomever they hear,
Seeking the servants of the Evil One.
But in you, O'Lord, I am safe.
You give me peace and comfort
While the wicked burn in the fires of your wrath,
And the memory of their destruction
Will linger like smoke on a calm day
And will not be forgotten forever and forever.
