Hello I'm Dave the Administrator
Hello all'
I have been requested to put a area in for new Members to introduce themself to the forums. So here it is mrgreen
I am a Christian of the Lord Jesus Christ, I have decided to serve him in this manner. Also I am involved with Prison Ministies and my Local Church. There I play a base guitar during the hymnal services. I am disabled with chf and so for the Lord have given me fairly good health even though the Doctors tell me different. I feel great most of the time. I believe it is because the Lord God has chosen to intervene and help me.
So, New members welcome aboard and my God bless your efforts.

God Bless
Dave

Hello I'm Dave the Administrator
Peace all,

My name is Eddie and I have been saved since 2000. Although I have professed to be a good person and did charitable things in my life, I never knew just how bad I was until 1999 (prior to being saved). I have no denominations because I don't believe in one part of biblical doctrine nor do I believe in any man-made doctrines...especially the ones that contradict the Word.

I have been declared by doctors that I have RP (retinitus pigmentosa) which is an eye desease that slowly takes away your sight. Although I was diagnosed just 3 years ago, the process has been going on since I was young. RP takes away my field vision first which is at the moment under 10 degrees. My central visions is about 20/30 but have develope cataracts which makes it difficult to read for periords of time. This also makes my see star-like effect when looking into any kind of light which can impair you central vision. I will soon be cain-trained in preparation for what may come.

I stand on the Lord's Word and believe in His Will even though I struggle at times with myself due to my disability. Many scriptures have comforted me but none like chapter 9 of John. Please do read it.

I think I can speak for most Christians, people with disabilities do not need pity. We just need understanding and to be a part of society. When people become sympathetic towards me, I just ask them to quit feeling sorry for me and pray instead.

As it said in John 9.....

"For His Glory",
Eddie

Hello I'm Dave the Administrator
Hi Eddie,

Welcome to the forum. My brother in-law has the same eye disease that you have. He is no longer able to drive at night, however he can drive during the day if it's a clear and sunny day!!!!
Hope you continue to be involved in this forum. We seem to have a large membership list but it seems that not many of them get involved in posting??

To let you know a little bit about myself, I got saved back in the 70's, I wish I could say that my walk has been a faithful one, but through the years, there were times when I was away from the Lord. But as the Word says He will never leave us or forsake us. His Holy Spirit drew me back to Him. We do serve a wonderful and mighty God.
God Bless you
Diane

Hello I'm Dave the Administrator
Hello Everyone (lol) , I am new to this Forum and been with the Lord a long time.

I hope that as the Body of Believers and Family of Christ that we can respond to each other in the Spirit of Humility and Meekness and Love for each other. I know that the Lord loves me and that I am doing His will because My prayers are answered 100% of the time. I pray that the body of believers here on this forum will be united in harmony and spirit without putting one above others.

I am a christian. Saved by grace. Jesus Christ is my Lord, Savior, my beloved, my friend, and my breath.
I love my Heavenly Father with all my heart.

Re: Hello I'm Dave the Administrator
Hello everyone - My name is Sean and I am new to this site although I have already posted a few replies. I have been saved since 1994 but I was caught up in the web of denominations. For years I thought I was truly saved and was being taught the truth concerning Christ. It was't until 2004, when I met a beautiful woman named Vanessa who later became my wife, that I was introduced to the true liberty provided by God's word rooted ina small congregation of saints with whom she worshipped. I since have left denominations and rededicated my life to Christ along with my wife, was baptized for the remission of my sins and now desire to teach others about Christ. It has been a long road up until now and having to start over again at first was humbling  but I am thankful that God has given me another opportunity to do his will. I look forward to being to learn, encourage, pray and rejoice with each one of you in the future. preach

Greetings to all my brothers and sisters!
Hello Everyone!
My name is Greg and I've known my Savior since I was 16. Now at 47, I am now seeing and being shown God's will for my life- and anyone who thinks that "they're too old to be in service", for Jehovah God--I'd loved to tell you what God has shown and told me about that! I'm not religious, but just a christian, striving to be as Christ-like as my Father God has instructed for all. I write lyrics for christian music, and on some of those words, given to me by God, He graciously gives me the melody- and brings others into my walk with Him--to put it all together! Most people want to give me the accolades( normal for all of us here on earth), but I was shown that everything that is given to us, is for God, and to praise, glorified only Him! Enough for now- but I'm excited about meeting any and all here! If I do something that I'm not supposd to do-- point your brother in the right direction! blessyou

                                                        BlesSings To all,

                                                          Gregory(Greg) Thurman
